SOME FACTS ABOUT DOLPHINS!
Dolphins are well known for their intellect, their gregarious nature, their sociability and their acrobatic ability; but did you know that to prevent drowning while sleeping only half of the dolphin's brain goes to sleep while the other half remains awake so they can continue to breathe!
TREATS TO DOLPHINS: as the seas and the oceans warms up, dolphins are being seen more frequently in colder waters outside their historic ranges. Due to the rapidly rising oceans temperatures, the dolphins primary food sources are seeking deeper cooler waters. Scientists are very concerned that dolphins will have difficulty adapting as quickly as necessary to find new feeding grounds to sustain their populations.
Some dolphins that live in areas where rivers and oceans meet, known as brackish waters, are loosing habitat as ocean levels are rising due to global warming. Let not forget also what humans are doing to these animals every year in place like Taiji cove, in Japan. One great example to what we are capable to do to other living creatures! We kill each others all year round in the world, so no big deal with dolphins... right?
WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP DOLPHINS AND OURSELF:
We are responsible, each of us, for the changes in our climates and global warming; so it's only making sense that the first step would be: To think before any actions we choose to make; only then we have a chance to reduce our carbon foot print and our green gas emissions.
- Each of our actions, if we put them together, will make a huge difference and we would able able to step forward for protecting our planet and all leaving creatures, including us.
- Try to buy local produces when you shop, so you don't encourage the use off large amount of fossil fuel to bring your food to your table.
- Use your car less, bike if you can, carpool, or even better walk because we all becoming too fat and out of shape due to our inactivity.
- Eat less meat; producing a single hamburger is worst in producing green gas emission than driving a car. The green gas emission caused by live stock production is gigantic!
-Inform yourself, then inform others, about what is going on. Your voice as way more power and impact that you can think. It's time to get those little thumbs texting the right messages! Go little thumbs, go!
- Be responsible! It is so easy to point the finger to someone else or to an other country. It is all our fault and we need to see it this way, it is each individual responsibility for making changes in our own lives. We are part of the problems, each of us, because of our hunger for material, useless gadgets and our enormous consummation and exploitation of all our naturals resources.
YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE CHANGES and find solutions, WE HAVE THE POWER IF WE WORK TOGETHER toward the same goal!
And if you thing this does not concern you and that is not a big deal for you... well to bad so sad...we'll simply will get what we deserves for our inaction. And good luck with that , because last time I checked, there was only one planet we could live on!

FAQs ,About marine animals in captivity:
I would like to help raise your awareness about why, there is a demand to capture and keep marine animals in captivity ; to raise your awareness because :you're creating the demand when you are visiting a marine park like SeaWorld or MarineLand or if you participate to a swim with dolphins in a vacations resort's activities.
The demand cause a market for exploitation of sea creatures!
So here are some questions and answers on the subject:
PLEASE READ IT AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT YOUR DECISION TO PURCHASE TICKET TO ENTER THESE WATER-PARKS DOES HAVE ON THESE ANIMALS, MADE TO BE LEAVING IN THE WILD!
WHERE DO CAPTIVE D
A quote by Jacques Yves Cousteau
" No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. No dolphins or marine mammals who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands parks can be considered normal."
Jacques Yves Cousteau.
Now, here is a quote from me:
Remember this: Every time you encourage a marine park by buying a ticket to see the marine mammals captive there, or on a vacation in a resort with a swim with captive dolphins, you are contributing to their captures and helping keeping them prisoners! It is as simple as that! And yes there is still capture!

A little info's on those white whales:
Belugas are fund in Arctic and Subarctic waters along the northern coasts of Canada, Alaska, Russia, Norway and Greenland. It is estimated that between 72,000 and 144,000 belugas lives in Canadian waters.
These animals are distributed in the Western Arctic ( Beaufort Sea ), High Arctic ( Lancaster Sound, Baffin Bay), Eastern Arctic ( Cumberland Sound and Southern Baffin, Hudson Bay, James Bay and Ungava Bay ) and in the St-Lawrence Estuary.
This is where I come from, in Quebec, and I have the privilege to be able to go observe them at the site where the St-Lawrence and the Saguenay Rivers meet, at only just about 60 kilometers from my house
Leonardo Da Vinci quote:
THE WATER YOU TOUCH IN A RIVER IS THE LAST OF THAT WHICH HAS PASSED,AND THE FIRST OF THAT WHICH IS COMING; THUS IT IS WITH TIME.
